Liability for contents
The contents of our pages have been produced with the utmost care. However, we can accept no responsibility for the correctness, completeness and topicality of the contents. Pursuant to § 7, Para. 1 of the German Telemedia Act (TMG), as a service provider we are responsible under general law for our own contents on this web site. Pursuant to §§ 8 through 10 TMG however we are not responsible as service providers to monitor transferred or stored information of third parties or to research circumstances that suggest an illegal activity. Obligations to remove or block the use of information under the general laws remain unaffected. Any liability in this respect is, however, only incurred from the moment that knowledge of the specific breach of law is obtained. These contents will be immediately removed upon discovery of any corresponding infringements.
Liability for links
Our offer contains links to external web sites of third parties on which we have no influence. We can therefore assume no warranty for these external contents. The respective provider or operator of the web sites is always responsible for the content of these pages. The linked pages were checked for potential and recognisable violations of the law at the time the link was established. No unlawful contents were in evidence at the time the links were created. However, permanent checking of the linked pages in terms of content is not reasonable without specific evidence indicating a legal infringement. We will immediately remove such contents upon discovery of infringement.
The contents and works on these web sites prepared by the operator of the websites shall be subject to German copyright law. Duplication, processing, distribution, or any form of commercialisation of such material beyond the scope of the copyright law shall require the prior written consent of its respective author or creator. Downloads and copies of this page are allowed only for private and not for commercial use. As far as the content of this page was not created by the operator of this web site, the third party copyrights are respected. Contents from third parties have in particular been identified as such. Should you nevertheless become aware of a copyright infringement, please inform us accordingly. We will immediately remove such contents upon discovery of infringements.
Data protection statement
All legal provisions of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG), the Telemedia Act (TMG) and other data protection regulations will naturally be complied with.
The use of our web site is usually possible without providing personal information. As far as personal data is collected (for example name, residential address or email address) on our pages, whenever possible this is always done on a voluntary basis. This data will not be forwarded to any third parties without your express consent.
We draw your attention to the fact that data transmission over the Internet (e.g. when communicating by e-mail) may involve gaps in security. Complete data protection against access of third parties is not possible.
We hereby expressly prohibit the use by third parties of the contact data published as part of our duty to publish an imprint for the purpose of sending any advertising or information materials that have not been expressly requested. The operators of the web sites expressly reserve the right to pursue legal steps in the event of unsolicited sending of advertising information, for example through spam mail.
Data gathering and processing
Personal data will only be gathered if you provide this information voluntarily, e. g. on submission of a complaint regarding aircraft noise.
If you have entered yourself in a mailing list stating your email address, this will never be used for advertising purposes. You can unsubscribe at any time.
We do not use tracking software or plug-ins of the social network Facebook.
Postings on our public discussion forums are accessible for everyone. You should carefully examine your contributions before publication for whether they contain data not intended for the public. You must expect (although we attempt to prevent this) your contributions to be recorded in search engines and to be accessible worldwide even if our web site is not directly addressed. Deleting or correcting such entries is frequently not possible with foreign operators. There shall also be no claim against DFLD (German Aircraft Noise Service) for deletion of these data.
Disclosure of personal information to third parties
We never disclose personal data, especially the personal details of station operators, to third parties without their express consent (but see: aircraft noise complaints).
Note: The positions of the measuring stations are intentionally stated imprecisely by the DFLD to prevent house-specific localisation.
Station operators have the right to determine the public position information at their own discretion.
Aircraft noise complaint
For aircraft noise statistics, we store only the date, time and post code of your aircraft noise complaint in the long-term memory. To monitor the function of our software, we store all the data of an aircraft noise complaint for max. 31 days.
The complaints are communicated with your personal data to the competent complaints office, which is also obliged to comply with the statutory data protection conditions.
